What Is the 7 Minute Workout Program
I joined 7 Minute Workout with no expectations. I have tried many fitness programs to lose weight and get in shape, and I thought this one would be the same.
Really, 7 Minute Workouts, 3 Times a Week
When I first started I was very skeptical. I had lots of questions. How can someone possibly lose weight working out only 7 minutes a day 3 times a week? This is just a program out to get people’s money. AND if you do lose weight it will be more about the diet, right?
Anyway, I started the 7 Minute Workout program. I thought what do I have to lose…except the pounds of course. I attended all 7 Minute Workout conferences. (or I would watch the replays). I wanted to learn everything, because I was going to be the one to say…”I tried your program and it is a scam.”
Well, I started working out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I got my wife and mom involved, too. We actually looked forward to our workouts, believe it or not.
What Can I Eat?
On one of the conferences, Joel Therien said, “do not change your diet right now, just get moving.” I knew then this was a scam, but okay.
I work out for 7 minutes, eat the same and I am going to lose weight? I thought Joel had lost his marbles. So, let me tell you what my diet consisted of: Meat, potatoes, and beer. Basically, that was it.
I didn’t eat many sweets, so I had that going for me, but I did drink my beer every night. I drink around 4 beers a night. I grill a lot of my food, but some of my food would be fried. I love my french fries, so I would baked them if I was at home. (Food Lion seasoned fries are the bomb) If I went somewhere, I would usually eat fried chicken wings and fries. So you see my diet was not a great diet to be on.
I have to say there was one thing I changed about my diet. I started taking a fiber supplement, but that is it.
So How’s Is That Working For You?
So now you want my results. I did my measurements two weeks into my workouts. But I have lost 17 pounds. I haven’t taking my measurements again, but I will be measuring again Wednesday, July 13th. I will post my results of how many inches I lost.
I have more energy, and I am loving it. My wife and mom had great results, but I will do another blog with before and after pictures of them.
So to conclude; you can get in the best shape of your life working out 7 minutes a day 3 times a week. If you want more information just click the link below.
Let me know your successes and failures when it comes to fitness and diet. I would love to hear why you could or couldn’t stay with a program.

Hi Jaden,
I recently released 45 pounds in 90 days, and I discovered 7 minute workout along the way.
It really fits my lifestyle, since it only takes a few minutes 3 times a week.

hi Jaden,
Great on you! if you can find a program that works and you stick to it – great! Besides sharing my knowledge in social media, I am a nutrition coach and I have been teaching people nutrition for over 10 years now! I work with many people wanting to lose weight and it is such a complex subject because no one program fits all. Every person is unique and I use biofeedback to help people overcome whatever is stopping them from being successful and gaining their desired weight.
I have just got my US biofeedback certification so I will now be moving more into my health coaching. I have seen how enzyme supplementation and the correct balance of fats can literally help some people drop the fat without any other intervention. This is why having a stress assessment is so helpful to determine what is causing the weight gain. Even if someone is over-eating – why are they over-eating?
Personally, I have a fast metabolism and I have never had to diet – my weight has remained the same for 30 years even after three children. I guess I am blessed but I also eat healthily and exercise 3 – 4 times per week and drink lots of water!
I look forward to hearing your results!
Hey Jaden,
Seven minutes a day only three days a week, that really does sound too good to be true! Sounds like it’s working for you and your family though so that’s awesome! I’m looking forward to those before and after pictures.
Since I have started working full time from my home in network marketing I have had to find activities that would replace the exercise that I would normally get from working for my past employer. So far all we have come up with is a nice walk in the mornings.
I will be watching your progress with the seven minute workout and may at some point wish to fit it into our weekly routine.
Thanks for the encouraging results Jaden!
Kevin
Congratulations on losing the weight its not an easy thing to do. I presume its the fact of actually consistently moving 3 x per week that is actually helping. How many of us don’t move enough these days now we’re using our computers so much. I wish you continued success
Hi Jaden,
I really like your weight-loss story, and I especially liked that you got your wife and mother involved, as well! 7 minutes, 3 days a week, that seems like something anybody could do!
Looking forward to those continues results, along with the photos!
Keep on working out!
Linda
Awesome results, Jaden! The 7 minute workout sounds like a great program. Keep up the good work!
I lost 92 lbs. in a year one time, but I changed my diet. Eliminating wheat, dairy (except yogurt) and sugar, I also experienced freedom from back pain and was able to get out there and exercise again after a few months.

I am the lousiest when it comes to exercise. Hubby and I lost 20lbs each and kept it off over a year just by changing our diet. (Well, me just diet, he exercised). I always struggle with exercise because I run 2 businesses, have 2 kids, volunteer in the community, etc. etc. Taking 90 minutes out of my day to drive to town workout and come back is just not appealing to me. 7 minutes would be interesting to see if I can stick with it (I dislike exercise but know it is important).
Hey Jason,
I like what your reply was to Eldon about making lifestyle change and not merely dieting. I am 6’2″ and weigh in around 200 lbs. Altghough I don’t consider myself overweight, but I am very much out of shape. I just have a question: Can you turn fat into muscle or is the fat displaced by the muscle toning that is involved? I ask because I remember my brother used to say that tome all the time.
Great read and
To your success,
Charles
Hi Jaden.
7 minute workout – If it is a well designed and hard hitting workout – Yes it will work, If you do it consistently (and it seems that you are)
I have the “curse” of a very fast metabolism. So I need to keep my workouts VERY intense and eat a LOT of food to build muscle.
My BILaw thinks it is unfair as he puts on weight when looking at food
Good luck on your journey
Ben
Hi Eldon….wow…your results are quite astonishing. Whilst I totally understand the principle of building muscle to burn calories, I am still surprised that you had so much success with just 3 x 7 minute work outs a week. So many people use the lack of time as an excuse not to work out, but everyone can find 7 minutes 3 times a week.
Louise
Hey Jaden
I am always looking for new fitness plans I find your 7 minute workout plan interesting. So you are finding you are losing weight even though you haven’t changed your diet that much?
Were you very active before? Currently I workout about 4 times a week. Anyway looks like your 7 minute workout is working. Keep it up
Thanks
Tina
Hey Jaden,
Hope these 7 minutes aren’t just cardio. I have looked at a lot of exercise programs and the best one that I found that only took a short time was the Royal Academy Training. It was great. I think I will look into the one you recommend
Wow Jaden, I’m with Eldon … why do you think this program has been so successful for you without having to change your diet? Sounds promising – look forward to learning more!
Jaden, why do you think you were able to lose that much on a 7 minute workout 3 times a week? What makes it work if you aren’t changing your diet?
