I have been doing a lot of soul searching the past couple of months. I realized that I was unhappy. I couldn’t figure out why.
Of course, I wanted my online business to grow, but I couldn’t concentrate on it at all. Why couldn’t I concentrate? Why did I feel guilty that my fiancee was running our store expecting me to get us out of there? Don’t get me wrong, I did help in the store, but not as much as I used to, so I could start a business from home.
As I was saying, I could not concentrate. I would look at my website. I know I could make it better, but what do I do. I could turn the computer off, and think to myself a 100 things to change. When I would turn the computer back on, my mind would go blank.
One day Christi (my fiancee) and I were at a friends house. Her name is Terri Tomberlin. (She just started her website, please check it out: http://www.territomberlin.com) I was telling her about the way I was feeling. She would ask me questions, and say “I don’t know why I am asking you this, but I am guided to do so” As I was answering, I was amazed at what came out of my mouth. She knew exactly what I was feeling.
I wanted to be me, but I didn’t know how to tell people. How am I going to tell people about the real me? She told me to ask for guidance, and it will come.
I did just that, and I explained to those I needed to, and now, I feel like a new man. I was amazed at the positive feedback I received, too.
I just want to say to everyone that is struggling to be comfortable in their on skin, you can have the confidence to walk with your head held high. The people you think will turn their backs on you probably will not…if they do you don’t need them anyway.
Just ask for guidance and you will receive it, just like I did.
Coming soon how to ask for guidance.
Yours in peace, light and love,
Jaden

Right advise Jaden. If they do go away… IF they do, you don’t need them anyway. You are blessed to find someone to share your true spirit/life with. Love it
I really like you Jaden! You are so freakin real, and that’s being yourself in my eyes. You don’t come from a lack of confidence at all. (at least not on the outside) Maybe you just THINK you SHOULD be like the other guru- type marketers out there today. Truth be told, I’m a bit bored of that image and I enjoy people who are very individual and that come from a place of kindness. Well…that’s you.
Thanks for being my friend. Kim
Jaden, I’m impressed with your honesty here. I agree with you wholeheartedly about being comfortable in your own skin. I myself have struggled with that recently. It’s refreshing to hear another view on it. Thank you!
Sincerely,
David Haines
Aloha Jaden,
I am honored to know you and I am inspired by your courage. We all are on a road to true “self discovery” and on that road will be many internal lessons along the way.
When we have the courage to push through our fears and conquer them, we find ourselves inspiring others to do the same.
Thank you for being one of those inspiring people!
Much love & aloha,
Kellie

Pretty impressive Jaden and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes those times in life where we’re ‘stuck’ and don’t know why is so easily resolved by just handing it over and asking for direction & guidance. Its also one of the most exciting things to experience when you realise the guidance you so badly needed is given in the most incredible way usually.
I agree with Donna’s comment “Now go forth & teach the world”. Go you Good Thing You. Cheers Anna
Thanks Jaden, Yes I agree its so important to be true to yourself. Our mind and emotions are powerful, taking the time to understand ourselves is the first step to moving forward..
Thanks for sharing

Bravo Jaden! You are an inspiration to us all. I am very proud of you. Now go forth and teach the world.

Jaden,
Great heart-felt post. We are on this planet for a finite period. That time should be spent being comfortable with who you are. You are a person of conviction and strength. I’m so glad you have found peace within.
Glad to see you back in the blogging community. I look forward to hearing more from you,
Val
Jaden, I am SO proud of you!
It is funny how you never know what impact you have on others. YOU have certainly been an inspiration to me. Your courage and strength are admirable. It is only through your willingness to listen that you have been able to make these changes in your life. Perhaps that can be another topic for you! Listening!
Thank you for simply being you!
